Description

During this intensive online course, we were assigned a variety of design briefs that put us through our paces. It was an engaging process that helped expand my design thinking and skills. I applied the knowledge gained about a variety of topics such as composition, typography and colour to develop the following projects.

 

Premium Beat (Student Work)

Our final assignment! Using an art direction of our choice, the goal was to design a series of boards for a scripted 30 second anthem spot for Premium Beat.

Tokyo Throwdown (Student Work)

Style frames illustrating a show open and title design for a fictional dance competition called Urban Freestyle: Tokyo Throwdown.

 

Expedition 100

Developing style frames with a particular focus on futuristic UI aesthetics for a fictional show open called Expedition 100: Mission to Mars.

Diesel (Student Work)

The focus of this assignment is design direction and structure for a 30 second commercial for an EDM festival.

On this assignment, we had to develop boards based on a provided script and brand guide.

 

Converse Logo Reveal (Student Work)

This assignment required us to create boards for a 5 second logo reveal.

 

IBM SmartCity (Student Work)

Building on the previous assignments, we had to generate an expanded set of boards to showcase broad ideas of SmartCity. Script for a 30 second spot and assets were provided.
